My name is Lauren, and I’m so pleased you’re here. Whether you’re looking for speech therapy or seeking professional supervision.

I am passionate about delivering holistic, evidence-based therapy while supporting others in achieving their goals. As a certified speech and language therapist with over 10 years of experience in the UK and abroad, I bring both expertise and compassion to every session. Seeing individuals thrive, whether through rehabilitation or professional development, brings me immense joy.

Since 2020, I have been providing online therapy and supervision, so I understand how to help you or your loved one get started with confidence.

A little bit about me

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Therapy from City St. George's, University of London and have worked extensively across the NHS and private sectors. From 2016-2018, I broadened my experience in Australia, working in a tertiary university hospital on the Gold Coast. During this time I also mentored Vietnamese speech pathologists with the Trinh Foundation Australia.

My expertise lies in adult neurological rehabilitation, including stroke, general medicine, and dementia. I have also held specialist roles in ICU, supporting tracheostomised patients, and in head and neck cancer care, working with individuals post-laryngectomy. I’m especially passionate about the crucial link between mouth care and overall health, particularly for those with dysphagia.

Communication is at the heart of what I do. I love delivering aphasia therapy (including melodic intonation therapy) and supporting individuals with dementia and their families. As a certified Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) therapist, I am able to deliver this fantastic therapy resource online for those who need it.

Supervision is a passion of mine. I have completed Intandem’s three-part supervision training under the expert guidance of Sam Simpson and have experience supporting SLT assistants, students, and qualified therapists. I find this work incredibly rewarding, providing a space for growth, reflection, and professional development—helping others build confidence and reach their full potential.

Beyond clinical work, I have experience leading small teams and collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals. In 2024, I completed the Mary Seacole Leadership Programme, strengthening my skills in leadership and management to better support both clients and colleagues.

I believe that everyone, regardless of experience, deserves equal opportunities that align with their skills. Navigating hierarchical systems can be challenging, but I’m passionate about fostering inclusive and supportive environments where all professionals can thrive.
